February 2025If you only have a night or two in Edinburgh, stay here. Clean and convenient, this little gem is located right across from the train station. We booked a different spot on our way back through from the countryside and regretted not booking this again. Loved the decor and the views.

February 2025First time in a Leonardo hotel and will definitely use again. Location excellent within a couple of minutes of The Royal Mile and five to ten minutes from Prince’s Street and close to Waverley Station. Hotel was spotless with very comfy beds and pillows and good showers. Lovely bath towels that cover those of us slightly bigger than average. Iron, board and safe in room alone with kettle etc. hair dryer (though it is of the variety with a tightly curled cable, very difficult to stretch and a bit frustrating to use) Bottled water left each day. Mini fridge in room. All of the staff were so friendly, reception staff great and staff at breakfast. Left luggage allowed on day of check in and check out. Breakfast was hot buffet and continental. Something for everyone. Omelettes made on request, granola bowls and smoothies made up. American pancakes, lots of different types of milks. Great selection! We had an issue with the controls on the Aircon which I let reception know about. I was just back at the bedroom door when a gentleman from facilities was there! So fast! He checked it, went back to check main board and was back in five minutes with a Second Gentleman and control was fixed. All in the space of 15 minutes of reporting. Now that is what I call 1st class service! One thing to note is that there is building work going on at back of hotel which they hope to finish this summer. It did’nt disturb us as we were at front of hotel and up early. I will definitely stay again when next in Edinburgh and recommend this hotel.

February 2025Can't fault the hotel. The staff were first class, reception were super helpful. Breakfast was amazing, except the shirt wait for fried eggs, but it was very busy. The location is perfect, Wetherspoons virtually next door and loads of pubs within walking distance. All this a 10 min walk from central station. Definitely go back.

January 2025One of the closest hotels to the train station, and the pricing is very competitive. The room is well-maintained, with a nice view. No complaints at all given the value for money. I especially appreciated the flexibility to extend check-out for just £10 per hour, up until 3 PM. Overall, a convenient and budget-friendly choice!

February 2025Enjoyed our stay in Edinburgh. Beautiful city, friendly people, so much to do. Our 4 days were packed with activities and we still could have done more. The Leonardo is in a fantastic location just off the Royal Mile, close to the train station, and roughly half way between Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood. You can’t get much more of a convenient location than this.
