Greyfriars Charteris Centre is a centre for community with a focus on wellbeing and enterprise. We have various halls and meeting rooms to suit a range of events from intimate team away days to elegant wedding receptions. We also have a co-working area with 20 desk spaces available to hire hourly or monthly, and a community of charities and local organisations spread across 13 offices.
The Binks Hall is a refurbished church hall, with original ceiling and floorboards. It is a versatile space with excellent acoustics for concerts and rehearsals with a grand piano available to use, and can be set up in various layouts to suit your needs. It has a capacity of 250 in theatre seating or 120 in a cabaret layout. It is accessible via four steps or a platform lift that accommodates most wheelchairs.

October 2024I used the venue to hold a large Halloween party for families my organisation supports. The venue is fantastic, central and easily accessible by public transport with a lot of great facilities on site. The sound system in the main hall was brilliant and the venue is very easily accessible for those with mobility related needs. The staff at the venue are lovely and so helpful too. We will definitely book again.
