We recently had our wedding at the village cheadle, we booked several rooms as we had a lot of guests staying the weekend. Check in was Seamless and efficient there was plenty of assistance with bags and the staff were very helpful, the rooms were great all our requests had been accommodated. On the Friday we had dinner in the bar and the food was excellent. The wedding was perfect I cannot praise the staff highly enough but a special mention must go to Lauren in the sales office Sam from operations they are truly amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff. Everyone commented on the quality of the food and the venue, the staff were fabulous. Thank you all for making our weekend so special

The hotel, room and the facilities were excellent. The food was a bit basic. Can't remember meeting a host at the venue.

A one night stay was reasonably comfortable at a good price point. The Caprese Salad was disappointing. One tomato sliced horizontally, 5 times, interspersed with thin slices of mozzarella cheese. The overly done balsamic vinegar squiggles on the small plate were an attempt to make the meal look bigger than it was. Not satisfying, especially when the other three in our party had more substantial quantities of food. The mild curry was served on a bed of rice and the chicken Caesar salad filled a large plate. Breakfast was reasonably good for the price and offered a good selection. Our room was small; such that two people could not pass between the end of the bed and desk. Our tiny bathroom could not accommodate two people. A person had to negotiate around the modern rectangular sink to use the toilet. There was no towel rail and working the shower was difficult without instructions. There was a Dyson fan in the room with the usual kettle, tea and coffee etc. Our room was near to a 'dreaded' corridor fire door which banged when people let it close on its own. Our bathroom door was also on a strong closure system and care was needed when entering to make sure it didn't bang. There was no operating extractor fan in the bathroom.

Nice big hotel. Rooms of good size. We had a Club Room. The bedding was clean but there were many short and curly’s. The hotel is also situated directly under the airport flight path. Very noisy. Bathroom area clean and tidy. Plenty of parking.

Really poor sound insulation, noisy neighbours easily heard between rooms. Tired rooms in need of some updates. Bring your ear plugs to avoid hearing planes landing at 5am. Sums up the hotels attitude I guess. Same response pasted onto different reviews at different times by different people - will not visit again.

Food ONLY Only came for dinner, 1 of the party is Gluten Free, there are no allergens marked on the menu. The kitchen provided an allergen matrix but this couldn't be followed by the kitchen. Tried to order a Sirloin steak, couldn't have chips, so asked for new potatoes (which were marked as GF on the matrix) but told they couldn't do this or cook the chips separately as they are not allowed to. In an era where allergens are covered so closely by food safety guidelines it is unacceptable.
