The building on Pendyris Street, with its redbrick facade and distinctive windows, hosts some of Cardiff's most popular music events all year round. The facilities include a 1000 capacity mezzanine level venue, a 46-seat boutique cinema and a terrace bar.
Tramshed has a private balcony, allowing your guests an exclusive space. If it’s a sit down affair, whether for a meeting or dinner, then 50 guests can be accommodated comfortably. If you are hosting a standing reception then 100 guests can enjoy the space.
The Balcony Bar provides a wonderful intimacy, whilst overlooking Tramshed’s forecourt with its floor-to-ceiling windows.

December 2024Excellent venue. Sound and lighting great. Smaller venue which is always preferable for me. Friendly staff and I didn't feel that the beer was expensive at all (particularly after the extortion of the Motorpoint).

November 2024Fab intimate venue, drinks very expensive, sound really good. Parked right outside?!?!? In and out quickly without any fuss! Short walk to city centre for drinks and dinner beforehand. Highly recommend.

December 2024A great live music venue close to the centre of Cardiff. Quite a lot of cover bands but a good selection of new music too. Good sound and lighting. The modest size means you can get close to the music very easily. One big space for standing with some seats on a balcony. A big bar runs along the back wall selling a range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Beers are on tap, everything else is in cans. A reasonable number of loos for men and women - all clean 🤩
