August 2024Firstly, it's free, though they happily accept donations. You can while away a good few hours here and they have various activities available for children. I went specifically to see the Valleys exhibition, thoroughly enjoyed it! Here are a few photos, plus one of Tom Jones which was a winner of Portrait Artist of the Year.

August 2024Went around the art gallery section located on the upper floor. Great varied collection of artwork - many that look through the lens of Welsh culture and history of coal mining in Wales. Unique viewpoints and history to learn about - very informative and enjoyable experience. Free to visit and see majority of the art gallery section.

September 2024I kids love this place. A fabulous collection of archaeological evidences of historic events and an expository narration of the richness of our universe. I'm going to visit this place again with my family

August 2024I thought there would be a bit more history about Wales like the Scottish national museum has. It's just Natural museum with stuffed animals and mineral stones and dinosaurs. It's not a bad museum, just not what I was expecting from it. Like even if I have to pay, I'd rather go to a zoo instead. Why isn't it called Natural museum of Cardiff? I wanna know!
