Exitus is one of the most unique venues in Cardiff; right in the City Centre, 3 different Escape Rooms (Curse of Senutep, Virus Tinkerers, Coco Loco), fully stocked bar (The Locked Inn) and indoor seating area. So come on over and see if you can Exitus!!

We can help you deliver the Event that you are looking for with Team Building games and activities, meeting rooms, a presentation area and our bar “The Locked Inn” we will make sure you Escape the Ordinary!
Escape Rooms put your team under a different kind of pressure and often allow people to demonstrate unexpected skills and talents this gives each member of your team the opportunity to shine and find new ways of working together – it’s team building, but not as you know it!
At Exitus we know that the pressure is on to provide an away day that people will enjoy and remember but also (sometimes) where some work can get done. We have our Bar and Breakout area which could be used to brief the whole group together, two of our Escape Rooms can be turned into meeting rooms so, including the bar area, you can have 3 individual meetings running at the same time and once the business is done – the fun begins!
We will provide free tea and coffee during your whole event, but if there is time for a few alcoholic drinks our Bar “The Locked Inn” has a wonderful selection of welsh spirits, beers and ciders. We have an excellent cocktail menu and are able to meet any specific requirements you may have. We can also offer discounted drinks packages, drinks tokens and include a drink in the cost of the event – whatever you need we can cater!

November 2024We came to Exitus for a 9th birthday party in the Coco Loco room and the kids (and adults!) had a great time. We loved the chocolate theme and the puzzles were really good fun, with a few exciting surprises. All of the staff were extremely nice and Will, who hosted the party, made the whole game so much fun for the kids. A week later and they are all still talking about it!

January 2025Myself and my family were fortunate to be given tickets to the Exitus Escape rooms as a Xmas present. With the exception of my daughter, the remainder of us had not been to an escape room before and were slightly unsure what the experience would deliver. We needn’t have worried. As soon as we were set the Great Escape challenge, each of us immersed ourselves in searching for clues and working as a team to translate them into solutions Before we knew it, 70 minutes passed and we successfully escaped……with big smiles on our faces. The experience was undoubtedly one of the highlights of this Xmas, and owed a lot to the friendliness, gentle assistance and good humour of the Games Master, Nathaniel Without doubt, we will certainly return to attempt further escapes on the future

December 2024Had a great time with the family at Exitus. Nathaniel ran the experience for it and was great. Maybe some of the items in the room could be upgraded as one or two broken items meant it was difficult to complete the task. But overall would recommend for escape room enthusiasts. December 2024Visited at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a little tricky to find and we did walk past it a couple of times but that was our fault as there was a sign outside. The staff were fantastic. Very attentive and the addition of not only an arcade but a bar and a very welcoming reception area made for a chilled-out visit. I can’t really lave a review of the rooms without leaving a spoiler. However, they were well thought out and that James and Mandy were great hosts. Can’t leave a 4 ½ star review so I’ll just leave a 4 and the reason for that is not a criticism but more of a suggestion that there is some form of clock inside the room itself so you are able to tell how much time you have remaining. But we will be visiting again in the New Year.
