I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Bristol and had a delightful experience. The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly their magnificent tall burger named "Rocky". The hotel also boasts a fantastic wine selection that caters to all tastes, whether you're a wine connoisseur or just looking to unwind with a good glass after a long day. I found their collection to be well-curated, with something for everyone and pocket friendly! The staff at the DoubleTree were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of my stay was comfortable. They were welcoming from the moment I arrived, adding a personal touch that elevated my experience. Breakfast was another highlight, with a lovely spread that catered to various tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a full English breakfast or something lighter, the options are fresh and satisfying. I left the hotel feeling refreshed and well taken care of, and I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Bristol.

Had a lovely 1 night stay at the double tree. The location was super easy to get to via car and plenty of parking. The staff were super friendly and helpful and had a speedy check in. Our room was great, super clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows. Will definitely stay again

Lovely staff and were very helpful when we needed to leave a daily early. The bed linen is to say the least a little worn and there are no directions regarding places to eat outside the hotel, shopping etc. I attended a conference and it was very well run with lots of breakout rooms and plenty of refreshments. Breakfast is wonderful and when asked provided porridge! Nicely done all round . Thank you.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre offers a blend of comfort and convenience, making it a solid choice for travelers visiting Bristol. Room Quality The rooms are clean and well-maintained, providing a pleasant atmosphere for guests. However, they are described as a tad small, which may be a consideration for those who prefer more spacious accommodations. Location One of the hotel's standout features is its excellent location. Situated just a short walk from the main areas of Bristol, including the riverside and various attractions, it is ideal for both leisure and business travelers. Guests appreciate the proximity to Bristol Temple Meads Station, facilitating easy access to transportation options. Dining Options The hotel offers a great breakfast, featuring a variety of options such as continental and full English breakfasts, catering to different dietary preferences. This has received positive feedback from guests, enhancing their overall experience. Additionally, the bar provides a good selection of drinks, making it a convenient spot for late-night relaxation. Overall Experience In summary, the DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre is a well-located hotel with clean accommodations and excellent dining options. While the room and bathroom sizes may not suit everyone, along with the small parking facility at an additional cost, the combination of quality service, cleanliness, and convenient amenities makes it a worthwhile option for visitors to Bristol.

10/10 Awful. I wasn’t given the room I paid for, after a lot of arguments they said the hotel was full. However their own website was showing availability for the room we booked at a cheaper price. Eventually we got what we paid for. Asked for the second bed to made- no one arrived and we had to sleep on the mattress protector and a duvet with no cover, or pillows. Mugs in our room hadn’t been cleaned out- stains still at the bottom of the cups, and tomato Vines on the floor with crumbs by our table. Breakfast was terrible, undercooked sausages and nothing being re-filled. They were understaffed and really struggling to keep up the demands from customers. They had a large party in the conference room which spilled out into the lounge- incredibly bad language being shouted across the hotel in front of our 3 children before 6pm. When I politely asked them to mindful of young children - one of the men spat his drink over me! No staff to help, or to sort! Waited 25 minutes at the bar to get served.. An absolute joke of a hotel.
