November 2024Went to Bugged Out for the Chemical Brothers. It was a great night out and Document is a fine venue. It's very large so even with a large amount of people it wasn't cramped. Lots of bars so little time queueing for beers.

November 2024Had an amazing time at Document for Glitterbox. Security and staff were amazing. I had a headache at one point and the team looked after me and got me some ibuprofen. Refillable water available. Groove Armarda were great. Dancers were lush. Had the best time, highly recommend. Coat store was £3, I think I got charged twice but I don't mind. Everyone was lovely and it was just a great vibe all round.

November 2024Venue is pretty well set up. Good security, plenty of outdoor space, large venue with a superb sound system. Lighting system could be better. Went to a day rave and watch Chemical Brothers. Solid set! Smashed it.

November 2024Interesting venue. Bit of a sketchy part of town, but lots of peole heading there, so felt safe. Massive space, with many bars, and reasonable prices considering the event. Sound, video and lights were awesome, but it does get very hot in there! Bit rubbish that toilets are outdoors, felt more like a festival on that front. Exiting was pretty bad, everyone filtering through one set of doors, hate to think of the fire safety.

November 2024Went to see Chemical Brothers here. Overall it was a good experience. Great space for a music event, reasonably priced drinks, decent food vans. It is close to being excellent, but needs a few things addressing: - there is no enough seating/ chill out areas. There is far less seating than the demand for it, leading to hundreds of people sat in the cold on the floor, which for a £40 a person event isn't OK. The second room didn't have any music, so it would be very easy to put more seating in there. - Toilets. I know a lot of reviews complain about the portaloo toilets, but personally I'm not fussy about that, but there was a massive puddle in the middle of the area and numerous inebriated people (us among them!) got their feet soaked trudging through it by mistake. - Chemical Brothers came on at 8pm, but it was dictated to us that we had to be in by 5pm. Why? If you are paying good money, should be able to arrive when fits your life. We would have liked to have arrived an hour or two later, so we were running out of steam by the end (therefore left a bit early), whereas if we'd arrived later we could have made it all the way through. Hope the venue read this, as although there is constructive criticism here, we actually had lots of fun and understand it's a relatively new venue. With a few tweaks it could be incredible.
