About Venue
The NEC/Airport centre is set within Birmingham Business Park, the most established out-of-town office park in the Midlands. The building is designed in a modern oriental pagoda style with verandahs set around an enclosed garden area. It overlooks a purpose-built lake, which is just one element of the park's attractive landscaping combining water features, wooden bridges and green spaces. About 100 companies are based here including a number of international brand leaders in electronics, technology and telecommunications, and the park is still growing. It is conveniently located with both Birmingham International Airport and the world-famous National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on the doorstep, which has staged over 2,000 major exhibitions and attracted over 70 million visitors since it was opened in 1976 by HM The Queen. It is also the venue for regular business events throughout the year.
The space is 48 sqm and benefits from natural daylight.

I rented an office in the NEC area from Regus between May - August. Centre manager was fired, and it had stand-in managers so services lapsed. Coffee Machine works part time - despite charging for 'unlimited use', Air con has a mind of it's own, telephone system was never sorted out for me, and the parking (even though they will charge you) can never be reserved - so not worth that. Gave notice in writing and discussed my negative issues, and noone called, and no manager told me i had to go through 5 steps on the app to formally provide notice! No email was sent from the people i emailed to anyone else, so now despite leaving in August, they are witholding £1,200 deposit, and are not returning it and are demanding Sep / Oct invoices, and getting very narky about it. Small claims is looming from my perspective. Was a simple one man office, and these are the issues caused by Regus' systems, 'computer says no' and noone is allowed to have a brain within the staff or do anything it seems. Awful company, and i since heard this is normal practice and they are very money hungry. The other NEC site is empty and isn't filling up, as there is too much drama going on at the site, and too many complaints that can't be resolved, despite it being a small centre!
