The 16th Century mill sits in beautifully maintained water gardens and the private lawn is the perfect setting for your guests to enjoy drinks and canapés.
Our team offer a completely flexible approach and our wedding co-ordinator will ensure all the details are tailored to you, giving you the day of your dreams.
We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and can accommodate up to 90 people. Our function suite holds 110 for a sit-down reception and 150 for your evening party.
Our chefs will cook delicious food for your guests, allowing you to select from a range of menus to suite your taste.
In the evening, you will have complimentary use of the bridal suite, whilst your guests will be offered a discounted rate on our 32 en-suite rooms.
The Egypt Mill Hotel and Restaurant has ample of free parking and is within easy reach of Bath, Bristol Gloucester, Cheltenham and Swindon, making it ideal for any travelling guests.

September 2024We stayed here for a night before attending a wedding elsewhere. The food was absolutely delicious, we had the best dinner and breakfast. The prices are expensive but you get what you pay for! The rooms are lovely and very clean, the whole place is very well kept with friendly staff.

July 2024What a relaxing stay! My husband and I came for an overnight stay and it was perfect. We were greeted by the warm and welcoming team and enjoyed drinks and lunch (and then dinner) out by the Mill Pond. There’s a real relaxed feel of just being able to do what suits you… pick your own table in the sunshine or the shade, order at the bar or enjoy table service using the app. Our room was exceptional, a gorgeous big bath with a view of the TV (very handy) and the freshly baked cookies in our room were an extra special treat! Very comfy bed and beautiful decor. Highly recommend for couples, friends or families!

August 2024Beautiful location, sat in the shade due to the visiting weather. The food: I had the Panchetta, and Olives as sides with a coke at £14 it was probably a little rich for me, but I am notoriously tight, however it was very tasty. I had fantastic company and the view was lovely. I don't really do photos of food so you'll have to take my word for it. The only negative point, which is more of a funny thing really is that the waitress asked if we wanted cutlery, I think she was having a bit of a day.

August 2024Lovely food and all the staff were great, but a bit disappointed by the speed of service. We popped in for a quick lunch on our way home back to London with 2 kids so ordered the 2 course set lunch menu thinking we'd be in and out in about 90mins max, but after 2 hours we had only just speedily finished our mains so sacrificed the kids desserts and left.

June 2024The service was really good, staff were friendly and polite, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the food took a really long time to come out. It was definitely worth the wait, as it was delicious. It was our wedding anniversary with I mentioned when I booked, as soon as we sat down we were presented with 2 glasses 🥂 of prossecco and a congratulations. Very nice touch. The room was lovely.
