The Ocean Beach Hotel and Spa is only a few minutes’ walk from seven miles of award winning sandy beaches and close to the town centre, gardens, and vibrant café society of Bournemouth.
Our venue has been decorated in a modern and rustic beach style, with onsite Day Spa and Italian Café. This new concept hotel and spa offers you and your guests a great venue to explore from. The 64 bedrooms provide you with a mix of décor, all with en-suite bathrooms and optional sea views upgrades.
The Ocean Suite is a large room with wooden floor, neutral colours and plantation shutters that is ideal for holding your wedding event. Located on the first floor, this room features spectacular ocean views that are further enhanced from the function suite’s terrace balcony. This truly is a fantastic venue for a wedding, accommodating up to 100 people.
The light and airy Atlantic Suite is also available, with views of the outdoor swimming pool and can hold up to 120 of your guests

Cancellation policy

Reservations and Payment 1. All bookings must be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit prior to the event. 2. Full and final payment is required 14 days prior to the event, unless credit facilities have been agreed in advance with the hotel. If credit facilities have been agreed, payment is required 14 days upon receipt of the invoice. 3. Final details for the event including numbers, rooming list, timings, menus and table plans etc. are required 14 days prior to the event. Confirmation By The Client 1. Once written confirmation, the signed contract and deposit (if required) have been received all such facilities, services, food and beverages reserved on your behalf will be subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. 2. Numbers must be advised to the Hotel at the time of written confirmation. Final timings, menus and any special dietary requirements etc must be confirmed at least 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellation 1. Should you need to cancel or postpone your confirmed booking at any time prior to the event, we will make every effort to resell the facilities on your behalf. 2. Any cancellation, postponements or reduction in numbers of delegates or bedrooms should be advised as soon as possible verbally and then confirmed immediately in writing. 3. The company’s cancellation policy is as follows: • Over 52 weeks prior to the event No charges and your deposit will be lost • 38 – 52 weeks prior to the event Loss of deposit • 12 – 38 weeks prior to the event 50% of all contracted charges • 4 – 12 weeks prior to the event 75% of all contracted charges • Less than 4 weeks prior to the event 90% of all contracted charges 4. Should numbers reduce from the original confirmation the hotel reserves the right to move function rooms, to accommodate the new size of the party.

    Fantastic value for money. Parking was also included with the cost of my room. Lovely sea views. 20 minute walk into Bournemouth town centre along the coast. Clean & comfortable.

    This was an experience! The rooms were pretty small and extremely cold, despite the radiators being on. All rooms were supplied with a fan heater as it must be a major problem, however if you were to use the heater and the TV the power in your room would cut out, this happened to us three times in just a couple of hours. The food was below average, with little choice and the restaurant was not much of a restaurant. The bar was not open upstairs which made it a weird atmosphere, although it was freezing in the bar area which is probably why. The facilities mentioned are at a hotel across the street, which is worth avoiding at all costs. The night staff and waiters were great, they were extremely friendly and helpful. Shame about the rest.

    Impossible to use shower, dribbles a little water and goes hot and cold constantly. Was told parking was included but had to pay for street parking or get up at 7am to move car. Tv Remote in room was revoltingly dirty and broken. Could not connect to WiFi. For the price we paid, we didn’t expect the ritz but I didn’t expect to have to pay for parking or not be able to wash myself

    Avoid at all cost ! No heating no hot water no shower. When I told reception was told to use portable heater when I put it on it blew all electricity. No plugs or sockets. Happened 3 consecutive days no apology at all ? Unbelievable! Was booked in for 12 nights for work Said hot water would be sorted tomorrow. Tomorrow never came. Excuse after excuse but still never apologised!
