At The Venue on Middle St., we’re in the business of hosting stunning weddings and special events. We are housed over three floors in this former printworks, offering an industrail-luxe vibe for 3 to 300 guests partying until 3am.
As owners, we have more than 20 years of combined experience in planning and hosting events, and we are supported by a fantastic team of event professionals, all of whom are passionate about the business of celebrating.
Between us, we’ll ensure the special event you’ve envisioned becomes a reality. We can’t wait to host your celebration and help you to create beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.
We also love to host workshops, training courses, photo-shoots, video-shoots, community events and more.
GROUND FLOOR
Our most chilled-out space, with subtle festoon lighting and flashes of neon. Standing capacity of 120, seated we can accommodate 80. This space is perfect for baby showers, wedding reception dinners and birthday parties but it's also been used for TV shoots, comedy nights and supper clubs. Lots of quirky features such as our original red telephone box and a clock that runs on backwards time.
MIDDLE FLOOR
A banging sound system, party lights and a spacious dance floor keeping everyone on their feet in this party space. Standing capacity is 150, seated it's 80. This floor has a separate bar area, 5 toilets and a cloakroom. This floor works best for club nights, wedding reception dances, birthday parties (kids and grown-ups) but has also been used for music video-shoots, film screenings and fashion brand launches.
TOP FLOOR
A light and airy, beautiful loft space, perfect for simple wedding ceremonies or blessings, corporate and community events. This space has a calming, elegant feel with white-washed walls, sky-high ceilings, festoon lights and beautiful original wood flooring.
Standing and seated capacity is 100. A pop-up bar can be arranged for this floor and toilet facilities can be reached on the floor below.

I celebrated my 50th there last year and my friends are still talking about the party (in fact one chose the venue as his wedding venue a few months later). The space is super versatile, offering lots of options, the sound system is great, in-build lighting, fully equipped bar (all the hidden things that cost an arm and a leg to add if not included). Hina, Karen and the whole team were a joy to deal with and helped me to plan every detail. For the catering they suggested a range of trusted suppliers. The quality of the food was great, very good portion sizes and fairly priced. When it comes to event planning ‚the devil is in the detail‘. It is therefore so helpful and reassuring to deal with a friendly and professional team that will take care of every aspect so you can enjoy spending time with your guests.
