The Escapologist cocktail bar Covent Garden is based in the riotous Headquarters of the secret society that ran Victorian London, styled as part ‘modern day Victorian men’s club’ and part 'Masonic lodge’. Partying like it's 1899 seven days a week, the focus is on memorable times with great drinks in an outrageous space.
Located in the Seven Dials area of Covent Garden, The Escapologist cocktail bar offers twisted classic cocktails. Reserve a table or area for friends, book a party or hire out a room for a private function or corporate event.
Follow the steps down to the lavish Vault, complete with wood cladded walls and golden arches. The perfect place to impress your fellow comrades with your very own fridge and leather padded booth seating.

Such a cool vibe!!! Our bartender MJ made some of the best cocktails we've ever had! Plus it was happy hour so 2 for £14!!!! 10/10 will be here again

Quirky basement bar. Loud 80/90’s music. Decent cocktails. Check whether it’s happy hour before ordering.

Good atmosphere and nice drinks. Staff was friendly and understanding. It was a bit louder than I'd prefer though. Also you have to order your cocktail at the bar, which is something I'd not expect from a cocktail focused underground bar.

Very cool atmosphere and drinks were good. However, we reserved a table and found out that this didn't include a server. This meant I had to wait at the bar for 15 minutes to get drinks while my wife sat by herself at our table. Cocktails take a lot longer to make than a beer so I really question the idea of not having servers. Perhaps singles looking to mingle with others will appreciate the wait with people beside them. We chose not to order a second round of drinks as the wait was too much for us.
