Knockderry house offers weddings on an exclusive use basis for between 30 and 50 guests. This means that you and your guests are the only residents in the hotel throughout your wedding day. Booking with Knockderry on an exclusive use basis allows the Knockderry team to focus all of their attention to ensure your day is a success. Knockderry’s exclusive use package includes accommodation and breakfast for 30 guests in one of their 15 bedrooms for two nights during your wedding celebrations. All rooms are warm and inviting with an individual style of their own. The bedrooms include the Library Suite which is complimentary to the wedding couple, Master Rooms, Kings and Doubles with most having inviting views of Loch Long and the Arrochar ‘Alps’ beyond.
Food & Beverage is a key aspect of the Knockderry experience. Your wedding package would include a welcome meal for 30 guests the night before your wedding, breakfast for the residents guests mornings, Prosecco and canapés after your ceremony shortly followed by a 4 course wedding meal. Knockderry prides itself on using only the best local & Scottish ingredients.
Suited on the banks of Loch Long, approximately 15 minutes from Loch Lomond & Trossaches national park Knockderry House is suited in an incredible scenic area. There is a wealth of sightseeing and activities for you and your guest to explore during your time in the local area. Knockderry is approximately 45 minutes’ drive from Glasgow airport which gives your and guest great access to Scotland’s main airport.
Knockderry House recently won the most Romantic Hotel of the year award at the 2016 Scottish Hotel Awards and has been nominated in 2017 for the fine dining restaurant of the year and also Country House Hotel of the year awards.

October 2024Four night stay this time. As always a very warm friendly welcome. Stayed in room 8 which was clean comfortable and well equiped. The food served in the restuarant was sublime, good choices and well presented. All staff very attentive, friendly and helpful, simply the best.

December 2024We booked up Christmas lunch, and I have to say that we had a fantastic meal. The service was first class, and it showed that the staff work very hard to make our visit feel very special, and while there were other guests for lunch, we were made to believe that we were the only people that mattered. Christmas is always busy in the taxi trade, so having a couple of hours to be made to feel relaxed and well looked after, made Christmas Day that bit easier. Thank you Connor and your team, you all done an amazing job.
