October 2024What a stunning hotel. They held an event there for me and did a spectacular spread ! Beautiful buffet food , tea , coffee and afternoon tea . Really stunning all on white tablecloth. Staff were very friendly and amazing and helpful. Thanks to Barbara the events organiser who was swift with emails and just very good.

October 2024Showing it's age a bit but - EXCELLENT breakfast and the beds are great - more comfortable than your own at home! Mobility wise - there is a lift, but it's a bit of a schlep from reception (ask to go in via the fire exit at the back). Also - breakfast waitress (Liverpudlian?) went out of her way to make us comfortable. Deserves a bonus if not a raise!😍😘😊

November 2024Stayed here for one night for work and my room didn’t have a secure lock, there was a secondary lock on the door but it didn’t work. There was black mould and stains in the bath, the floor was dirty, there were scratches and marks all over the walls, stains over the mirrors and mysterious stains on the bedsheets. No plugs near the bedside tables, no main lighting in the bedroom.
