Bolton Castle is a magnificent Medieval Fortress which is steeped in history and has a wonderful atmosphere, which is brought to life when people come to celebrate here. Our spectacular rooms are licenced for Civil Ceremonies and Receptions and can also be used for private events, dinners and conferences from 20 to 120 guests.
We have our own caterers who can cater for all tastes and budgets from hog roasts and cold buffets to sumptuous three course meals.

March 2025We turned up at Bolton Castle purely by chance today. To be honest we near balked at the price, but thought better of it and went in. What an amazing time we had. Absolutely worth every penny. The food although a limited menu was superb, and the staff were great. In the Castle itself we had a great time. So many nooks and crannies to have a look in. But the highlight of it all was the team there. They were fantastic. The stories they told and explanations were great and really drew you in. . Special note to Dave and Colin. Our boys loved them and haven’t stopped talking since about how much they loved it. The views are absolutely amazing and although not a huge place, I think you get to see more of what a castle is like because of the access you get.
