March 2025Lovely evening tonight - I took my daughters for the prix fixe menu and we were looked after incredibly well. The service from our waiter was excellent and he was very warm and welcoming to my two young daughters. Food excellent and great value set menu up to 6pm.

March 2025Just fantastic.. we were there on a busy Saturday night they had two big parties if 43 and 24 yet still served the two of us impeccably with a lovely humour. Food outstanding. Subtle delicious artichoke salad, super pate, sensational pork dish and tasty chicken and of course it has to be the superb souffle for pudding. The Bellini was great and for non drinkers there is a lovely selection of non alcoholic cocktails. Congratulations!! Oh, also it looks great too and prices are fair.

March 2025Wanted quality French food, not what we got. Ordered the guinea fowl for starters, got a dry small pastry, had way better in Greggs. Main was pheasant, which was ok but the relish had too much clove and vinegar and cinnamon as to taste almost chemical, really way off on balance and unpleasant to eat. The mushrooms tasted like they had been boiled in kiora orange cordial? Really not nice. The carrot or pumpkin? Was again way over powered with too much spice and herb. The jus was weak and the whole combination of everything together was a clumsy and I’ll have to say disgusting mess. The parfait starter with thick dry toast, tasted bland. The trout main was cooked ok but again the flavours were way off, both too weak and way too strong at the same time. Overall this was a very disappointing meal. Service was ok but felt pushy. We were not offered the prix fix menu at all even though if was only 5pm. Waiter was only bothered about upselling us and seemed annoyed that we didn’t want olives etc. would not recommend and annoyed that this is coasting off the Blanc brand whilst delivering very low quality food. Addition: I don’t want to email directly, I’d like the BB team to respond here please.
