If you’re looking at Edinburgh conference venues, take a look at the Holiday Inn Edinburgh hotel. We offer 14 unique and air-conditioned conference rooms in Edinburgh, up to 120 guests. You can enjoy fantastic hospitality as well as panoramic views of the Pentland Hills.

There’s nothing worse than a stuffy, poorly-lit meeting room. Which is why our conference rooms in Edinburgh allow natural daylight to pour in – keeping guests alert throughout your event. If that doesn’t do the trick, our limitless supply of Seattle’s Best Coffee should ensure delegates are refreshed and revitalised.

The hotel is in a great location with walking distance to shops. Parking is available and charged at a daily rate if you use the Zoo carpark located behind. The staff are very friendly and the decor is appealing. We are using a training room and the view from the top floor is fantastic. Free WiFi also available. Highly recommend as the hotel is very busy.

I stayed here several years ago and more recently I have stayed 4 times in the past year. Each time I have enjoyed the welcome at reception, the evening dinner was good and varied. Breakfast was always good and my room warm and comfortable. No complaints at all. Back again in April 2025.

We stayed as a family with our 8 Months old son during New Year time. Due to peak season and high demand we paid a good amount for 3 nights, but the room and bathroom weren't up to the standard of what I thought. The room was basic and outdated, bathroom was clean and newly done but it's congested. We struggled using the bathroom to give a bath to our son as the place is so tight that you can't move freely. Definitely it's not up to the standard to come under a 4 star hotel. They do have swimming, sauna , and Jacuzzi but again they are small. Another weird point I noticed was our room wasn't cleaned and the bed wasn't done because we left 2 clothes on the bed. One day we came back in the evening and noticed bed wasn't done and a note was left saying as per hotel policy we are not allowed to move personal belongings so we can't do the bed. I find it bizarre and the first time I had such a weird experience. We have stayed at another Holiday inn, but never experienced such an issue. We also requested a cot in our room and they did provide it, but no blanket or duvet. Apparently they didn't have any blanket or duvet for a child which is very unusual for a 4 star hotel. Food and service was good. The biggest selling point for this hotel is its location. It's located right next to the Zoo. Overall it's an okay hotel but definitely not a 4 star.
