Our dedicated and experienced team pride themselves on being flexible, professional and having the personal touch — making the whole process as simple as possible for the event organiser. With nearby parking, easy access to the M4 and good public transport links, the centre boasts several adaptable spaces, including: the main exhibition floors, a purpose-built Science Theatre, the KLA Lab, Learning Hub and Planetarium.
With over 100 interactive exhibits on site acting as natural ‘ice-breakers’, guests can relax and enjoy a truly unique experience in a place that’s unlike any of the standard conference and events settings they may have grown used to. There’s even the opportunity to add extra science-themed ‘busking’ on the floor, interactive workshops, team-building activities or talks in the Planetarium to make your event completely unforgettable.

The Science Theatre holds 85 adults comfortably for conferences, presentations, or keynote speeches. It is a self-contained event space with built in AV capabilities.

February 2025Fantastic Family Fun at Techniquest! Techniquest in Cardiff is an absolute gem for science lovers of all ages! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a hands-on, interactive experience that makes learning fun and engaging. The exhibits cover a wide range of scientific topics, from physics and space to engineering and biology, ensuring there’s something to capture everyone’s interest. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to explain concepts and demonstrate experiments. The live science shows are a must-see—educational, entertaining, and perfect for kids and adults alike. The planetarium is another highlight, offering a fascinating journey through space that’s both immersive and awe-inspiring. Located in the scenic Cardiff Bay area, Techniquest is a great spot for a day out, with plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions to explore afterward. Whether you’re visiting with children, friends, or even solo, it’s a fantastic place to spark curiosity and have a great time. Highly recommended!

January 2025It is a family-friendly interactive science center that offers hands-on exhibits and educational programs to explore science in a fun and creative way. Founded in 1986 by John Beetlestone, it is Wales' first science center, established to make science education more accessible to the public. Originally located in central Cardiff, it moved to its current location in 1995, providing a larger and more modern facility.

January 2025Brilliant place too bring the kids. 5 and 7, had amazing time. Older ones will appreciate it too. All practical science learning and experiments. Plenty of adults were having great fun!
