We recently visited London for the first time and stayed at the Half Moon for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it. We try to stay 20-30 min from city center when traveling like this so we experience daily culture as well; if you like to do the same the Half moon is a great option. The train station was 5 min walking and the property it's self was beautiful, clean, and a great atmosphere. The staff made us feel so welcome and you could tell this hotel is a big part of the Herne Hill community. This was truly a great find.

We booked the suite room, it was fantastic and breakfast choices were good. Check in was great, shown to our room.and everything explained. The actual pub is great. I would recommend if you're visiting the 02 academy.

Booked the private area in the beer garden for some post wedding drinks and would highly recommend. Booking process (via Ann-Marie) was really simple, the area was great and we had a really fun night.

The pub is beautiful and has been lovingly restored. Your drink prices are hugely inflated . I work in East Dulwich and if any of those also lovely pubs dared to charge £7.45 a pint they would get short shift and would probably close. The fact you can get away with those prices speaks volumes about the clientele you have. But it's not for me. It's not Central London. Behave yourselves and get the prices down below £7. Honestly, it's disgusting.
