Brighton Toy and Model Museum is one of the World’s great toy museums. It provides an immersive visual experience that plunges the visitor into a different world. A glimpse through the eyes of artists and designers that were responsible for the golden age of toy making in Britain and throughout Europe.

The collection of more than ten thousand items is densely packed into a set of Victorian cellars. Located in the arches beneath Brighton Station, in the heart of the City. The cellars, formerly a beer barrel store and horse stables have been re-opened and transformed. We host a diverse programme of events from Wedding drinks receptions, Theatre performances, Networking and Corporate receptions to Product launches.

Hiring the Museum for your event offers your guests or delegates the opportunity to experience a truly unique building and everything the collection has to offer.

The Upper Arch is perfect for small scale theatre productions, lectures and product launches.

Down the slope from the railway station. A wonderful but compact museum if toys through the ages with several working versions. A bit of nostalgia. Well worth a visit.

If you are a fan of models and toys you'll enjoy this museum. Located underneath Brighton railway station its not far to travel for visitors to the city. The museum is easy to navigate and a ticket to the museum gives all day access. The museum is full of something from nearly everyone's interests from model trains, old lego sets and dolls there will be something for everyone's interest.

So many toys, so much that my parents couldn't afford, or refused to buy me ! Some great nostalgia here, worth the £8 admission. This place is a dream for model railway enthusiasts

What a lovely hidden gem in the heart of Brighton. Very close to the train station, so if you have a spare 30 to 60 minutes, I recommend you visit. Adult £8, child £5 and under 4 free, family (2 adults and children) £17 so it will not break the back. The initial shop opens up to the museum packed with loads of nostalgia. 12000 toys and items to see from a wonderful working train sets to puppets, meccano, dinky, hornby, and many more, covering many eras. The passion put into preserving these gems of toys and models from the past should be supported as this is run by a charity and volunteers. Otherwise, they will be lost. Highly recommended.

Lots of toys and models to see... Some train toys can be pressed, and it can run on the trails. So good to see many things, some we don't even know existed long time ago. They gave a paper of pictures for kids to find logo miniatures, and when finished, they stamped the paper, and gave a sticker to the kids. So fun for the kids... No need to buy ticket in advance. Better to check the opening times, before coming. Toilets for customers are available.
