The medieval Tithe Barn offers a unique location for your celebrations. The charming barn, complete with a high vaulted ceiling and rustic oak beams, can accommodate up to 200 guests. For smaller wedding parties, we have a fantastic selection of rooms which are perfect for more intimate, private occasions.
Our excellent chefs will work closely with you to design the perfect menu for your wedding breakfast. With a delicious variety of dishes to satisfy a range of tastes, our chefs can create anything from six-course feasts to informal buffets.

December 2024We had Christmas Day lunch at the hotel. On arrival we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff and shown to our table. The Ermlyn Room was warm and bright, tastefully decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The piano player was a classy touch. All seven members of our family enjoyed the experience and would return. Also the location and parking is very convenient for us. Thank you.

January 2025I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff could not have been friendlier and went out of their way to make sure my colleagues and I were looked after. We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast. All very reasonably priced. My only concern was the walk to my room out of the back of the hotel and up some shallow steps. They had been gritted in the icy weather but were uneven. The entrance to the block where our rooms were was tiled and wet from melted ice. It made me a little anxious in case I slipped. Still, I would happily return to this pretty hotel, though, and I'm thinking of booking a weekend for my husband and me 🙂

March 2025Leaving a loyalty programme immediately is completely unacceptable. The only reason I booked your property was to access the benefits provided by programme membership. Even the smallest amount of customer care would see you honour these benefits. Instead, you took the route of sending out a ‘tough luck’ email. Absolutely shocking customer service. I’ve stayed in your hotel dozens of times over the years but will not be back.
