The Georgian manor house is more than just a beautiful wedding venue. With exclusive hire available, the venue acts as your home for the day to ensure that your day is as relaxing and enjoyable as it should be.
While the manor has an intimate atmosphere, there is also an undeniable grandeur to the venue. The high ceilings, spacious rooms and opulent décor provide an impressive setting for the day.
We can accommodate smaller, more intimate ceremonies in a variety of our licensed rooms within the house. Larger celebrations can enjoy the use of our generous Banqueting Hall and stunning, chandelier-lit Pavilion. For outdoor events, our gazebo is fully licensed to hold your ceremony within our beautiful grounds.
The Banqueting Hall can seat up to 500 guests under a stunning starlit ceiling. The flexible space is ideal for large celebrations but can also be partitioned for smaller events.
When your day is sadly over, you can enjoy your very own luxury bridal cottage. Your friends and family can also choose to stay with us at Fennes in one of our seven guest rooms.

February 2025We got married last Monday and everything was perfect. Our wedding coordinator (Jenny) was fantastic. Everything was planned out and taken care of. The food was scrumptious and the venue looked beautiful. The rooms and honeymoon cottage were outstanding. We would definitely recommend The Fennes to all couples looking for a fabulous venue. February 2025We had a very disappointing experience on our wedding day, which really dampened our mood for which should’ve been a smooth experience. The venue failed to inform us that a blue car was blocking the entrance of the front of the house. We found out upon arriving at the venue (by our photographers) and despite them assuring us they will get it resolved, the car didn’t get moved during the daytime ceremonies. When the groom arrived, his hired car couldn’t be positioned in front of the house as planned and instead had to go on the side. This meant the unexpected blue car took the limelight. This affected us massively which lead to losing a crucial amount of time in the morning, causing delays with all suppliers involved. We also didn’t get the day time shots we wanted, so this was a real shame. We had our civil ceremony outside in the pergola and we found pieces of glass scattered on the grass. We were due to get married here, had we not noticed that then someone (including ourselves) could have got hurt. We expected the venue to be given to us fully cleaned and it seemed this was missed. This lack of communication caused a lot of stress on the day and disrupted our whole schedule. It’s now been almost 6 months and after chasing constantly for a solution via email and telephone, we are still stuck in a limbo. For the amount of money we paid, the lack of professionalism and the after service is the reason why I can’t recommend this venue. Davina
