The Montague On The Gardens, The Log Cabin

The four star Montague on the Gardens Hotel combines the best of two worlds. In front is the British Museum and the hurly-burly of tourist London, whilst to the rear there's a serene private garden, cut off from the city by a rectangle of fine Georgian townhouses.

Looking for something a little different this festive season? This year, our Garden Terrace will be transformed into an elegant log cabin, an atmospheric space complete with a festive bar, a Christmas tree, and beautiful centrepieces. Nestle down amidst our cosy armchairs and sofas and enjoy a drink in front of a flickering fire. Awash with winter merriment, our Log Cabin is the perfect space to soak up the festivities of the Christmas season.

Please note: The Log Cabin is for exclusive hire only. We unfortunately cannot take reservations for individual guests unless you are a hotel resident.

Enquiries are open from 6th November to 17th December 2023 and, as the venue is for exclusive hire, bookings need to be for a minimum of 10 people.

The Log Cabin is available for private hire with two sessions available.

Daytime slot – 12pm - 5pm
Evening slot – 6pm - 10pm
Our staff will be dressed in Christmas Jumpers uniform however, if this does not suit the theme of your event, we will be more than happy to wear waistcoats/suits at no extra charge. Please let us know.

The Log Cabin is for exclusive hire only
All private hire bookings are based on a minimum spend and a mandatory 12.5% service charge which must be fully pre-paid
The payment terms are 10% to secure the date, 40% 3 months ahead of your event, and 50% 1 month before

Our guest’s safety and experience in our food & beverage areas are of paramount importance and we will endeavour to accommodate all dietary/allergen requests. To ensure these requests are treated with extra care, we require 24-hours notice for dietary/allergen, intolerant, or other special requests.
Please note that due to the nature of our business, we cannot guarantee 100% allergen or intolerant free recipes/dishes.
Where the hotel has not been made aware of dietary requirements within the minimum notice period The Montague on the Gardens reserves the right to refuse service.
