Reception
If you are planning a small and intimate celebration, our cosy Green room is available for up to 18 guests. Alternatively we have Ingram’s room for up to 34 seated guests also with access to a private courtyard.
Our luxurious fully dressed marquee is also available for up to 150 guests, this is the perfect area for larger weddings or evening celebrations.
Our experienced wedding coordinator will work with you to create your dream day along with our Award winning chef, Chris Lee. We offer a wide range of delicious menu options, whether it be a set menu or a more informal barbecue option, we cater for all tastes.

February 2025Brilliant pub and cosy hotel! The food was superb, and all the staff so attentive and super friendly. The manger was brilliant, ever present and ensuring we were well looked after. Highly recommend!

February 2025⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at The Crown in Bildeston! All the staff are so attentive to service - very warming 👍 The food was absolutely fantastic The treacle soda bread was great 8/10 lovely local butter , Smoked haddock bites 6/10 - small and heavily made up with potatoes Venison, peppercorn and rosti chips 9/10 great dish - venison lovely and tender Sticky toffee pudding 8/10 In general great food, felt a little expensive for the portions what we got Breakfast full English breakfast - high quality ingredients and yes with black pudding 9/10 The atmosphere in the pub was warm and inviting, The room was cozy and comfortable, and I felt right at home. Car park lots of space to park - I had an electric car price Approx cost - £20 to fill up my car 50 percent to full and took 10 hours - app easy to use The only downside was that our room was above the bar, so there was some noise in the evenings. However, it wasn’t too disruptive and didn’t take away from the overall experience. If you read this I bet your thinking - “What do you expect when you book a room above a pub vs a hotel” 😂 Highly recommend this charming spot for anyone visiting the area!

February 2025Our new favourite place to dine. The food and service here is exceptional. Tonight we had the oysters, which are by far the best in the area. Also had the newly added rib suet pudding, 100% recommend, so good! Service is top tier as usual, everyone that works here is so welcoming and attentive.

January 2025We had a 50th birthday meal (20 of us) in this gorgeous location. Some of the party were not used to such quality and with it the price. And we’re quite rude (much to my annoyance) I have to say the staff were nothing but professional and handled them with much grace, I was so impressed. The rest of the party enjoyed cocktails agree on was the quality to the food. Each and everyone said it was gorgeous. Thank you so much
