Mama London boasts 194 rooms, each meticulously designed by Dion & Arles. These rooms serve as sanctuaries, blending homey comforts with all the necessities of modern luxury living, including spacious king-size beds and high-speed Wi-Fi to cater to your every need.

April 2024All the little details that make the visit with us so popular were abundant as always. Great atmosphere in the lobby and then lovely fruit and welcome vouchers in the room for a drink at the bar and the message on the mirror are just so cute and thoughtful. We had 2 rooms this time as we brought our brother and his wife and they absolutely loved everything about the hotel. The food and drinks are just spot on as always and never have a bad word to say about either. Onto the staff, the team are AClass!!! They are literally like a little family and same faces and we know pretty much all of them and all work extremely hard to make the whole experience of visiting mama a brilliant one all the time. We Love Mama ❤️❤️❤️

June 2024I have very fond memories of my stay at the hotel. The atmosphere of the surroundings was remarkable, the food was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was far from the city center and quite a distance from the metro station, but it wasn't a major problem.

April 2024Visited MAMA Shelter a for Mother’s Day lunch in March 2024, and I really enjoyed it. The space is vibrant and eclectic, and reminds me of similar bistros I’ve visited in LA. We had a roast which was big and arrived quickly, and the service was very friendly. The gave me a complimentary cocktail on arrival. It was the perfect blend of cool hipster venue, but relaxed enough that my son could run around and nobody minded. I would like to go back for a birthday drinks next time. Love the eclectic and stylish decor.

June 2024I’ve stayed many times in Mama Shelter & this occasion was by far the worst. Where to start.. The medium room I booked was very small. No room to store luggage or hang anything. The bathroom was teeny tiny & not enough room to dry off! I was jet lagged so decided to sleep in the next morning when I was suddenly woken by the fire alarm. This nearly gave my boyfriend a heart attack (no lie) This alarm was never mentioned when checking in. The second morning I was woken by room service (cleaning) even though the do not disturb was on the door! The service in the restaurant was awful with us walking out twice as no one took our order or acknowledged us for over 20 minutes. However, Kim (Waiting staff) gave exceptional service when they were present - thank you Kim! I raised these points with the manager who was awfully apologetic & said they will see what they can do for me but never heard from them again. Even though I was disappointed with this stay I must say the location is perfect for East London & I always enjoy the decor.

June 2024I am very disappointed during my one night stay at this hotel. I have previously come here before only for the restaurant and the food was great. However, I stayed the night at the hotel on 25th June and for the price I paid (£360) for a small single room, was extremely disappointed. Firstly, the rooms were quite nice for a 4 star hotel. I checked into my 1st floor room and to my surprise the TV was not working. I called the reception and they kindly moved me into another room on the Lower Ground. It was a nicer looking room with a working TV… BUT NOT AIR CONDITIONER WORKING! The whole night I was not able to sleep properly because the AC was not working and the receptionist was not able to help me as the maintenance guy was busy, so he did what he could and got me a small fan… which did almost NO DIFFERENCE! It made my whole night so much worse! I am so disappointed that such a lovely looking hotel with a great restaurant can be like this, now I will not be visiting again because of this experience.
