The Earl of Doncaster is a four star hotel uniquely decorated with an art deco finish.
With a choice of facilities including our spacious Concorde Suite, Ballroom and our comfortable Cafe Bar Concerto restaurant, The Earl will bring a touch of luxury to your special day.
Your guests will be welcomed with a red carpet entrance into the spacious foyer, where they will be greeted and looked after by our dedicated team. Our personal service can cater for 180 breakfast guests and 200 evening guests.
From arrival to your first night as a married couple our dedicated wedding co-ordinators will make sure nothing is overlooked. We will spare no effort making sure every detail is meticulously attended too from table decorations to meal preferences.
If your guests choose to stay the night we have 73 bedrooms of all different sizes to suite your loved ones needs.
At The Earl we offer the choice of conducting civil ceremonies in the Ballroom. For smaller intimate weddings we can also conduct your ceremony in the Ripon & Wetherby Suite.
Alternatively we can just host your wedding reception: traditional or a little more extravagant? Your special day will be individual to you.

August 2024Hotel was brilliant. Rooms were decorated amazingly, all super clean, nice white company toiletries. Had everything we needed including tea, hair dryer, iron, wardrobe space. Wonderful rainfall shower. Sophie at reception was fantastic answering queries before and after we left.

July 2024I stay at the hotel 2/4 weeks in the month and the staff, location, rooms etc are excellent. Special shout out to the bar staff, where I spend most of my time and especially Holly who has nailed the pint pouring and always has a smile on her face. Genuinely couldn't recommend the place any more than I have. Superb.

Very well presented and the flavours are outstanding! I stayed in a Hilton yesterday and can honestly say that the Earl puts them to shame from rooms, to service and food!

July 2024Beautiful hotel. The art deco theme feels special and glamorous. Staff were wonderful and relaxed with a great sense of humour. The room felt romantic and very clean. A huge plus for me were the heavy blackout curtains, not an inch of daylight got through so had a lovely sleep in. Bed was really comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

August 2024Quirky art-deco building. Food was great, but they had five staff away, computer problems and a very noisy wedding, so service less than the best, although very friendly. No proper hand pumped beers.
