Didn't stay here, but did charge the car at the very nearby Tesla Superchargers. Hotel is pretty smart, and out of courtesy we asked first to use their toilets, which was met with polite and helpfulness. Looked a nice place to stay, plenty of parking, restaurant looked nice, along with foyer and toilets.

No issues, whatsoever. Nice hotel. Gentleman who checked us in (sorry I have forgotten his name) was more than pleasant. We were given an exec room, I assume because we arrived late and there were no normal rooms left. Or it was simply just a nicety. Considering there was a wedding reception going on when we arrived in the evening, this didn't disrupt our stay. ONLY criticism, and I am fully aware that this is a privileged-1st world problem: but the TV seemed small.

The appearance on their website is very different from reality. They either do it very well or very poorly. The carpet in the rooms is very worn, even threadbare. No safe, no fridge, and no iron. The mattress are of poor quality. However, the pillows and quilt are high quality, and the shower is amazing. On the day I visited, they were accommodating a function, and there were at least 10 people waiting at the bar, we left and went to a local pub instead, It was 30 degrees and the air-conditioning in the bar and restaurant was off as it does not work. Later that evening, when we returned, I was talking with staff and asked about the long waits at the bar earlier, and they said it was the norm as the hotel does not increase head count for functions. Would I stay here again, more than likely not.

The worst hotel experience of my life so far. This hotel is nothing like how it appears online. 1 - Bed was rock hard - wooden frame with terribly thin, low quality mattress. Sleeping on the floor outside would have been more comfortable. I hate to sound so negative but genuinely not exaggerating here. We did not sleep all night and had terrible body pains the following day. 2 - Smell of damp as soon as you enter the building and then stale food as you go to the upper floors. 3 - Carpet in the rooms missing in some areas. Looks and feels like nobody cares about this property at all. 4 - Bathrooms dirty. The toilet literally had yellow and brown stains on the white toilet seat. Absolutely disgusting and very nauseating to see. 5 - Staff unhygienic, unkept and lacking any sort of care. Greeted by a really sweaty gentleman who was visibly lacking in good personal hygiene. Called reception / room service 10+ times and the call was simply ignored. Went to a Tesco express a short drive away instead, which was probably a safer choice anyway. On our exit early the following morning, we approached reception to hand in the room card and were completely ignored. 6 - No fridge, no iron, no safe, no water, 1 towel between 2 people and no carpet in areas. Wouldn’t be paid to stay here again and would not recommend to anyone.
