January 2025A fairly regular haunt for us, which is a very positive review in its own right. Smallish and unique restaurant with excellent food and wine, a relaxed atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. On first viewing the menu may not look all that exciting, but if you think, for example, that chicken is dull try it here. The food is cooked to perfection, is well presented and always has complex and interesting twists to the flavours. The wine list is also not extensive but again has high quality exemplars of the type. Not a bustling or noisy place, but a place to relax, chat and enjoy the food

January 2025Me and my fiancée had dinner here for the first time and it was fantastic. We were visiting Manchester for the night to watch the football and had dinner here before the match. The atmosphere was really relaxed, the restaurant is on the smaller side but the fairy lights, fresh flowers and tea lights make the space feel intimate. We both ordered a starter and main and then I had a desert. The portions are perfect for a 3 course meal and they had a great selection to choose from. There’s a hatch where you can see into the kitchen but you don’t need to see how the dishes are made to know the ingredients are fresh. We both enjoyed all our plates and I especially enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. I also had a few of their non alcoholic cocktails and they were great too. Finally the staff there were super friendly and accommodating. I could not recommend this restaurant more.

January 2025It’s been year since I’ve been here. The starters were better than the mains. I really enjoyed the fish croquettes, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside which worked well with the sauce salad. The main I got the porchetta. The flavour was there but the pork was on the drier side for me.
