Stone Barn is situated on a peaceful hill with sweeping views over the glorious Cotswold countryside. This historic building was transformed into an events barn by Cripps & Co, a family-run business that has nearly 30 years experience in creating events. The barn is located between Burford and Northleach on the Gloucestershire-Oxfordshire border. Stone Barn’s generous interior is enhanced by flagstone floors, a huge open fireplace, and wooden beams. It is an idyllic setting for all kinds of celebrations.
Our adjoining Dutch barns have elegantly arched ceilings, beautiful corrugated iron roofs and sweeping views over the surrounding landscape. This split level space is set up for drinks at the gallery bar and feasts down below. A large, open terrace has roaring fire pits to keep guests warm. The Dutch Barns can hold up to 200 seated guests. Our in-house chefs design a personal menu and flame-grill food on a giant indoor BBQ (believed to be the biggest in the UK!) and rotisserie. We buy the best, cook it simply and serve it generously. Whether you’re planning a lively party, a corporate gathering, or a special event, our dedicated on-site team is here to help make it unforgettable. July 2023Flawless experience from start to finish! Stone Barn is the most incredible wedding venue, the setting, food and team all make it what it is and we really wouldn’t have changed a thing. We’re so happy with how our day went, it felt relaxed and special in equal measure throughout and everyone who came along has commented on how much they enjoyed their meal and day. July 2023We got married at Stone Barn in July 2023… What a magical venue, from the look around tour back in 2021 to the wedding day- a seamless and stress free process! The venue is just incredible, in the the middle of amazing countryside- the two different barns are stunning, and flow together so well…the fairy lights and lanterns, candles, give it such a magical feeling. We had rain and sun on our day, meaning our drinks reception was half in/outside- the space is perfect for all weather. When it rained it made the inside look even more magical and dramatic with the twinkly fairy lights. Jasmine was our coordinator and she was just amazing, the day ran so smoothly, stone barn are pros at what they do! The food- wow, I can’t stop thinking about those bbq sirloin bricks! Everyone has commented on how amazing all the food was, the best wedding food they have had! Wish we could do it all again! Thank-you Stone Barn! Harry & Beth

August 2024We got married at Stone Barn in June of this year. Angie, Jasmine, Abigail, and in particular Georgie we're all brilliant in the lead up and on the day of the wedding. All our queries were answered quickly, and they were very flexible and tried to accommodate all our requests and ideas. Our day was just perfect, everything ran smoothly and we knew we could completely trust Georgie and the team. We had so many comments about how lovely the venue and the staff were and how incredible the food was (one of the main reasons we chose the venue was the open kitchen and sharer style menu). April 2024Attended a wedding, in the evening, location is secluded and private, through country roads. Parking next to the main building with easy access (no walking on grass). Beautiful building with fantastic layout for events, allowing guests to enjoy regardless where they are, as it does not feel huge and soul-less. There is a grill and kitchen area (we had delicious freshly prepared artisan pizzas), a distinct bar area well stocked, and the dancing area (there was a live band in my case). Toilets were very nice. Overall a great impression, would definitely return and/or host sn event there.
