Skylon is situated on the first floor of the Royal Festival Hall in the Southbank Centre and offers stunning views from huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The restaurant features modern British cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere separated by a stunning centerpiece bar, which is renowned for its fabulous cocktails.

Skylon takes its name from the original iconic structure that was built for the 1951 Festival of Britain. The restaurant’s design echoes the style of the Royal Festival Hall during the same period, with unique contemporary touches.

The venue offers a large open plan space with three clearly divided sections, and can accommodate a seated dinners or standing
receptions.

The River View reception area is our semi-private dining space and boasts outstanding views over the bustling Southbank and River Thames. Situated in the middle of the restaurant in front of a slightly raised bar, this space gives diners an uninterrupted view while they enjoy the atmosphere from the restaurant, bar and grill. This space is perfect for corporate events, drinks receptions and evening parties and special occasions.

Saturday jazz brunch. Apart from the amazing view, we were accompanied by a jazz saxophonist who wandered among the tables. The set menu is good value and we couldn't fault the food. For me, the service is a cut above other restaurants of a similar price bracket, and one of the reasons I will continue to visit.

Superb food, great value set menu £30 including glass of wine, and with views of the river. Generous portions. Passion fruit posset was stunning! Or cocktail or tea at the bar. Stylish central London venue. Great multinational staff. Really impressed

Went here as part of the 2024 BAFTA Awards before and after the ceremony. We had a warm welcome, lots of vantage points, seating, drinks stations and wonderful canapes. We had veggie mains after the ceremony and were offered alcohol free beer as well. The staff were all hard working and incredible. We could not stay for desserts. Will return soon.
