Housed in a Victorian building complex originally intended for use as a community centre and swimming baths, and having survived everything from world wars and infernos to hardcore punk shows, The Dome has steadily earned a reputation as one of the most vibrant and diverse music venues in London.

Whether it’s exciting new bands on the ascendancy trying to make a name, or already-established acts wanting to give their fans a chance to see them in an intimate setting that doesn’t compromise on the quality of the show, The Dome has become the go-to choice for so many. In recent years, the stage has been graced by everyone from chart-toppers like Florence & The Machine, Khalid and The 1975, to pop punk heroes The Wonder Years, grime pioneer Giggs, rising indie-rock star Mitski, UK alt-rock champion Jamie Lenman, and even black metal icons Gorgoroth. Oh, and sometimes the floor is occupied by a ropes and canvas ring that hosts to regular boxing events, as well as monthly shows from the UK’s fastest-growing pro wrestling promotion, Progress Wrestling.

And through all of that, The Dome has remained an independently owned venue, retaining its unique character and charm while simultaneously developing into a state-of-the-art home for contemporary music.

Today the venue is in better shape than ever, having undergone a huge building refurbishment and equipment upgrade over the summer of 2017, and the future looks bright – not least because of the new lighting rig installed during those works.

We look forward to seeing just how far we can take this venue, and we hope that you can be a part of it.

The Dome is a versatile, state-of-the-art event space housed in a historical victorian building available to hire for all manner of events, day or night, seven days a week.
Situated less than a minute’s walk from Tufnell Park tube station.
In-house, we have combined decades of experience in live events in our office team who can help you make your event run as smoothly as possible, as well as passionate, proactive duty managers who will ensure that you have everything you need on the day and front of house staff that provide customer-friendly, professional service. Our dressing rooms are well-equipped and comfortable, our bars are well-stocked, and we have an on-site production office to be used as a work space during events.

Been here several times to see various bands, the most recent being Canada's own Panzerfaust. This venue has been around forever, but following the closures of London stalwarts like The Mean Fiddler they were one of the spots that really picked up the slack and I have to say: I'm not mad at it. The folk who work here are always friendly. The bathrooms aren't anywhere near the horror show of The Underworld. Drinks are reasonably priced considering it's London. And most importantly, the layout of the main floor and stage is great and allows you a good vantage point of the action no matter where you're standing. As an aside, Panzerfaust delivered one of the greatest sets by a black metal band that I can recall seeing in over two decades of regularly attending gigs.

Nice small grassroots venue. Staffed seemed friendly, and sound was good but a little quiet. When I attended, there were not many people in the audience.

A fantastic live music venue. The stage is nice and high so you can get a good view of everything from any part of the venue. The staff are all super friendly and access to and from the venue is really easy.

Superb venue and location! I saw a band here last night, and the venue is literally a 2-minute walk from Tufnell Park Tube Station. Super convenient. It’s small and cozy, holding around 500 people—intimate, but not too intimate. Now, let’s talk about the lighting. Or should I say, the blinding? Not sure if it was the band or the venue that decided on the setup, but I felt like I was staring directly into the headlights of an oncoming train. The bright white light was so intense I started wondering if I’d accidentally wandered into a dentist's office mid-cleaning. Seeing the band? Forget it. At this point, I’d recognize them better in a police lineup. And then there was the strobe light. Wow. I don’t have epilepsy, but after last night, I think I got a free trial. Between songs, the crowd was audibly comparing notes on whether this was a concert or a covert interrogation. One person joked they felt like they were in a club scene from a low-budget sci-fi movie. Great venue otherwise, though. Just bring sunglasses and maybe a disco ball so you can reflect some of those beams back at the band.
