Great would have scored higher but the radiator was switched off in my room so I was cold. Towel radiator was switched off it bathroom so it was freezing. Otherwise it was ok. There was however an ominous brown or red dot on the toilet seat when I arrived. The bar is nice comfy chairs. Nice reception. Good facilities and parking. Lovely Christmas decor.

Stayed 2 nights at the resort. The place has got loads of character, but there are issues with an old building - squeaky floors and really heavy doors. The room we had was Deluxe Queen Room, but frankly, I would expect something better for nearly £300/night on weekdays. The grounds are vast, and the river at the back of the hotel is definitely a bonus. The added benefit of the gym, saunas, and swimming pool is great, and as they are accessible to club members as well as to hotel residentss. The room itself had a recently renovated bathroom, and the decor was OK. One of the reading lights by the bed didn't work. The cleanliness of the bathroom towel radiator and behind the main entry doors has let it down. Additionally the the bath screen had a gap between it and the bathtub, allowing water to freely run on the floor even when being extra cautious. Breakfast was good in both selection and quality of food, so we both enjoyed it. Overall, it was a good stay, but I'm not sure if I could call it value for money...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here over the last few days of 2024. The hotel is located in the well off suburb of Teddington by the Thames river. The property has a large grounds where you can walk along the river ,play rugby, tennis, football and other sports. The hotel is both a hotel and a members club and that is biggest dilemma cause it can be busy in some areas and then they cordon off some areas for members only. The hotel is in a older building and most of the furnishings seem to be runned down and carpets very dull too. The members building is new and they have a Dunbar cafe which looks lovely but is only available to the members and that again is not great as a guest of the hotel. The hotel does not offer food after 9pm. There is no room service and no one ever responds to a phone after that time of night. The hotel has been called a 4 star and if you consider what they offer I would call something lower as 24 hour food is important. We stayed in large double room which had an outdated television but modern shower and bath facilities. There were a lot of stains on the carpet and the housekeeping staff were not very good in cleaning the rooms over our 3 day stay and also replenishing it with ammenities. To me this is a 3 star property. I will definately return but I will not remember it.It is a peaceful place if your looking to runaway from the hustle and bustle of life in London. The breakfast is average think a premier inn offers better.
