December 2024We were very impressed with the service you gave us last Friday (27 December 2024). You were very accommodating about the fact that two members of our party of seven were going to be late. The lady who served us was helpful and friendly. The booking was for 1.00 p.m., but you did not mind us delaying the ordering of our food. You said that you would, if necessary, ask the chef to stay on after 2.00 p.m. In the event, the other two members of our party arrived by 1.30 p.m. There was a good variety of choices on the menu, better than many other pubs these days, and the dishes were reasonably priced. Our food arrived promptly (but not too promptly).
