Beautiful food, fabulous service and fantastic staff! Very friendly, very welcoming and super helpful. It was my son in laws birthday lunch and we travelled up to London to meet them but our coach broke down and we would have missed our booking, but I called the restaurant and spoke to Luigi who was super helpful and very understanding and moved our booking to a later time so that we could still celebrate! Highly recommend!

Came for brunch on a Sunday (didn’t stay in hotel). The venue is nice but service was slow (felt like they were a bit short staffed). Coffee not great and came after I’d finished my food. The food itself tasted nice enough but if you order the bacon roll, you get mostly roll (and spinach, weirdly). Glad I tried it, but probably won’t be back.

Hope people can see this is a genuine review and I read all of the good reviews before hand but surely these people can’t be speaking truthfully. No lift so have to carry extremely heavy luggage down several flights of stairs, not convenient at all especially after we had just landed from a flight at Heathrow. And to top it off nobody at the hotel desk half the time, even though there’s a button saying “press for service” pressed it over 4 times every few minutes and nobody would come until 10 minutes after. Rooms are average and fine to sleep in but definitely dated, very loud closing doors so don’t stay if you get woken up easily. And I’d say the cleanliness of some parts of the room and hotel are a bit questionable. I don’t usually write reviews often but I do feel that this review section needs some truth to it.
