The Royal Institution is an independent charity dedicated to connecting people with science & innovation. All revenue generated from venue hire is donated back into our charity.

Working with our in-house catering supplier, Searcys, we have created a range of innovative and delicious menus to suit all occasions with a focus on providing modern, British & sustainable hospitality.

Steeped in over 200 years of history, the original Lecture Theatre, where discoveries that helped shape the modern world were announced is at the heart of the Royal Institution. Offering a remarkably intimate space for up to 420 people, this unique auditorium is fully equipped with AV and a dedicated technician for your event. The perfect space for conferences, seminars, forums & screenings, the Theatre is generally hired along with our other first floor rooms offering an exclusive and versatile setting for your next event.
