December 2024Having been to quite a few Michelin Star restaurants, Petrus was on another level. There was nothing I could fault here. This was the most amazing experience ever. The staff were so accommodating and attentive. Even though the restaurant was fully booked we felt like the only people there. Every need was adhered to and the staff just seemed to be there when we needed or wanted them, like we were in our own little bubble. The music was soft and gentle, and not too loud, so we could hear each other but loud enough to not hear anyone else’s conversation. Overall, if you love good food, amazing atmosphere and extremely fantastic staff, please try Petrus. A big thank you to Cain for looking after us, and letting us look around the amazing wine cellar. Cain you are an absolute credit to Petrus

January 2025We had a wonderful experience here at Petrus. We went with the A la Carte menu. All four of us had different things of the menu which was great. Hors d’oeuvres and bread and butter before meals were a really nice touch. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and we were offered four complementary glasses of Champagne which again was a lovely touch. We all loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. Truly first class and definitely worth the money. The wine list is vast full of amazing wines. I was pleasantly surprised to see some nice Hungarian wines on the list. Highly recommend a visit.

December 2024Lunch for 2 at Petrus by Gordon Ramsay in Knightsbridge. This was our first time dining here and we were lucky my wife’s sister gifted us a voucher (which means we only paid for drinks & service)! We went for the 3 course a la carte menu. We had starters of the scallops and smoked eel. For mains we had the rabbit and deer. We finished with the apple soufflé and Plaisir Sucre for dessert. We were also served a couple of amuse bouche, bread & butter for the table, granita as palate cleanser (photos not included) and complementary macarons and madeleines to end. Customer service was phenomenal as expected. The food was a memorable experience of textures, flavours and memories! We ended up paying almost £90, I had an Orchard Fizz cocktail and my wife had a non-alcoholic Seedlip Grove tonic water (the actual bill would’ve been about £330). A great experience!

February 2025went there yesterday for lunch with my girlfriend. the restaurant itself is cozy and modern. i liked the atmosphere. only thing i disliked was the toilet flush. the sensor didn't work at the first time. the service was perfect. polite and professional. the food was classical and nicely done. i really liked the plating. the wine list was quit big with interesting bottles. many french wines. for lunch we took the a la carte option. it's also possible to take the full menus but we didn't have that much time. cocktails were also up to my expectation. would recommend and come back again

January 2025On January 23rd, I flew all the way from Asia to London and went straight to this restaurant for lunch right after landing. I booked a table for one, as this was the restaurant I had been most looking forward to visiting in London. I’ve always been a fan of Gordon Ramsay. The food was indeed delicious, and the portions were satisfying, but the service here really needs improvement. I’m not sure if Michelin-starred restaurants usually have sommeliers, but the server who attended to me was very unprofessional. When I asked her for wine recommendations to pair with the lunch menu, she kept saying she didn’t know and told me to decide for myself. It was my first time dining here—how would I know what to choose? If I already knew, why would I need your service? My water glass was often empty, and her attitude was cold and dismissive. She asked me with a sour face if I was enjoying my meal but didn’t even look at me. Before I could respond, she just turned around and walked away. The more I thought about it, the more upset I became. I complained about her poor attitude and requested that she not come to my table again. In the end, the restaurant offered a complimentary slice of cheesecake, but after such a terrible experience, who could even enjoy dessert? This kind of insincere attitude, coupled with unprofessional service, is unacceptable—especially when a meal costs nearly £200 after the 15% service charge. I am truly disappointed in Gordon Ramsay and hope this is only an issue with the management of this particular restaurant. I do not recommend wasting your money to endure such treatment here. I’ll be leaving negative reviews on both Xiaohongshu(Rednote) and TripAdvisor. This place is absolutely appalling.
