February 2025I am here for 4 nights every year. The hotel is clean and comfortable with good parking and easy access to anything you might need as well as being an easy walk into the town.

January 2025Great place. We were invited for an Awards Ceremoney and there were around 300 guests. The actual hall was great and pretty generous for 300 people. The staff were all very helpful and most importantly, pretty happy and ready to help. Food was good too. All in all we liked the experience of being there!

January 2025We booked the hotel as we were going on a cruise the following day, we parked the car in the car park for the duration of our trip. The reception area is lovely and has been updated, the bar and restaurant area is together and not very cosy. The room was dated, but clean and functional, we were next to the main road , but didn’t hear any road noise. The doors to the rooms are very heavy and the corridor to the rooms long and echos everything, every slam, screaming child and dog barking, unfortunately for us we had a family staying in adjacent rooms to each other and the noise was pretty awful. I did say to the receptionist as we checked out and she really didn’t care! We will stay elsewhere in Southampton when we cruise again, plenty of choice .

December 2024No heating in the rooms in the winter??? The room was cold we were given 2 heaters to bring it up to temp. I kept them on all night. No heated towel rail or heating in the bathroom. The pool was good but the changing rooms were very small and used for the gym as well as the pool. One small bench, 1 shower and loo. Had to walk through the gym wet to get to the changing rooms. No spin dryer for costumes. We won't stay again.
