Tythe, Launton, Exclusive Hire

Tythe was the first venue on our list that we went to see after getting engaged and we instantly fell in love with it! We were very kindly shown around at an open day and found that it was the perfect balance of secluded and private while still being very convenient for our guests to find local accommodation. The barn and the grounds have such a cosy and modern, yet rustic, feel which was matched by the farmhouse where we stayed the night of our wedding. The real charm of Tythe is that it is so beautiful on its own that it barely needs any other decoration (which made our lives a lot easier when planning!). Alongside the stunning venue is an amazing team of people who genuinely just wanted to make sure our day was as perfect and stress free as possible, and this was certainly the case on the day. In particular Katie, Josie, and Connor were very flexible and happy to help us whenever we had any questions or concerns. Tythe honestly made our wedding day even more perfect than we imagined, all of our guests had a wonderful time, and we couldn’t recommend it enough!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Tythe in Oxfordshire, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The venue itself is a perfect mix of rustic charm and elegant countryside beauty. From the stunning barn to the lush outdoor spaces, there are so many incredible spots for photos, each with its own unique character. One of the highlights was the addition of the alpacas - SUCH a fun and unique touch! The couple and their guests absolutely loved interacting with them, and they made for some incredibly memorable, whimsical photo opportunities. It was such a delightful surprise and added to the already magical atmosphere of the day. The staff at The Tythe were also fantastic—warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. They ensured everything ran smoothly, and it was clear that they really care about making each event special. Whether you're a photographer or a couple looking for the perfect venue, I highly recommend The Tythe. It's a breathtaking location with a great team, and I look forward to working there again soon!
