The Lord’s ground is one of the BEST cricket ground where a cricket fan could be. Lord’s has always been the MECCAH of cricket. The feeling when you see the ground is amazing and it’s truly majestic when you step inside the ground. The ground is iconic. You get goosebumps once you see the iconic ground inside. A MUST place for someone who knows about cricket.

LORD’S means pilgrimage for any cricketer to play in the ground and memory for cricket fans. Its iconic stadium with many history established in 1814, 210 years ago. First test match was played in 1884. During my recent visit to London, I planned to visit this landmark place, but due to Christmas and extreme cold, gates were closed. Clicked outside pictures 😊

A must visit if you are a cricket fan or love watching the sport. The tour we booked was immensely educative and our guide walked us through history right from when this stadium was constructed and how it was governed all the way to the players room and media centre and the field itself. Videos are restricted in most parts except in the open field viewing areas. Photos would never do justice to this place and it’s ought to be felt in person - whether you book the tour or watch a match, either way you would feel the historical weight this place carries. It’s not just a stadium, it is The Home Of Cricket! Interesting facts: 1️⃣ Lord’s stadium is the only stadium which has the cricketers walk onto the field from amongst the crowd. Though that “crowd” consists of only Club members and player’s family members. 🏏 2️⃣ the waiting list to be a member of this stadium’s club is 29 years! 🤯

Amazing tour getting access to the dressing rooms , balcony and long room. Jim is an amazing person explained lords history very well. But it would be better if there is an option for open tour for guests exploring the areas at their will. Had to always stick to the guide and security throughout the tour.
