We were at the Carey's for a spa and afternoon tea visit. We has an amazing time. The spa was great, the staff were wonderful. The afternoon tea was one of the best we have ever had. One of us is Gluten sensitive and the GF tea was brilliant 9.5 out of 10. Thank you to the staff in the restaurant and the spa for an amazing afternoon.

Another blissful Spa Break at Careys Manor. Spoilt with the choice of 3 restaurants, one of which is the Zen Garden offering delicious fresh Thai food. The spa is so relaxing, you are gently engulfed with smells of lemongrass and other exotic spices, all the treatments are excellent. And the hydro pool is as warm as bath water, I cannot wait to return next year for my 3 day stay!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in the Hotel, all the staff were most friendly and helpful, the rooms were warm, there was a lovely open fire in the reception area and lots of places to sit and relax. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and our meal in the Thai restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed the SenSpa very much and look forward to visiting again. Many thanks

Beautiful place. Walked from the station no problem, fairly nice walk but a deceptively busy road. Our room was lovely. I just found it a little dated. Understand you can’t just rip out a bathroom but the bedroom could be updated - dark, polished wood is just so dated. Service was lovely. The lady who checked us in was delightful, can’t fault, as was the lady who checked us out. Just wonderful. The lady on the spa desk was a little odd/difficult to read, less wonderfully helpful and delightful. But got the job done, I’m just being picky because elsewhere was exceptional. All around, loved our stay and will be back next year!

Not worth the money - CM tries to market itself as an upmarket boutique hotel like its many competitors in the area. But what you get is very dated rooms with broken facilities and a cold and limited breakfast spread in the morning (hot food cost you extra!). The swimming/spa facilities are small and very busy so not exactly relaxing. Premier Inn quality at best but they charge you a fortune. Don't be fooled! The only upside is its proximity to the station but there are many other options in the area in a short cab ride. Staff are sweet enough but couldn't save the dire state of this hotel.
