April 2025Visited 05/04/2025 to watch the Peter Kay comedy tour. In the weeks leading up to the event, lots of communication advising to download tickets from app to your phone and then able to add to things like Apple wallet for convenience as an example. I was asked to enter via the City rooms/Hunts bank entrance close to Victoria train station, there is a fair few steps to climb and all staff were very helpful and ensured smooth transit through the checkpoints. Once inside the entrance to seats are well signposted and there are a number of food and beverage concessions with helpful staff. A good venue and line of sight for tickets in the upper block was decent, we were asked close to the start time not to take pictures and videos of the event so can only show pictures prior to the event. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

March 2025My daughter and I recently attended Taemin's last European tour date at the AO Arena, and it was magnificent - the venue, the show, the evening. To be honest, I'm not sure if the quality of the show elevated the nature of the arena. Either way, it was a lovely setting. Worth mentioning is it's situated within the Victoria Station complex. This made it so easily accessible by train and tram services from Greater Manchester and beyond. It's also close to the city center, which made further exploration (for food) an added bonus. We always felt safe in the area, and there were plenty of security in their MIB attire. But the concert itself, that was a memorable event. Taemin's performance was captivating, showcasing his exceptional artistry and stage presence. The arena's acoustics and seating arrangements did help for sure. It felt bigger than it was, if that makes sense. Overall, the combination of a convenient location and a fantastic performance made for an unforgettable evening. We'll definitely be back - even if it means watching KSI box Logan Paul again 😏🙄.

April 2025Excellent venue, really easy to get to, viewing is good and sound quality excellent, the drinks and snacks are not the cheapest but it’s the same at any venue. if you’re driving there are lots of car parks close, but, it’s best to do some research on the best deals Firth’s time tour there. Don’t rely on there being enough parking at your hotel unless it’s guaranteed.

March 2025I was watching Peter Kay at the AO Arena in Manchester last night. What a fantastic evening we had. I have been to this venue many times. The security is very much improved now since the tragic bombing a few years ago. Lots of stewards to help with directions, etc. Lots of clean toilets are available. The prices for the shops and bars on the Arena complex are expensive as usual. My friend and I were on row M, which is very high up with steep steps. Peter Kay went on and off 3 times and said good night, but the lights remained off. Some very selfish people proceeded to push down the steep steps in the dark, which is highly dangerous if someone were to fall. I don't know whether that was Peter Kay's management fault or the Arena management's, but it really is an accident waiting to happen. The mass exit was well organised, and we could exit the building in a reasonable time. Another gripe is that there is now a building on the site of what was a very convenient car park for the Arena, but thankfully, there are a few smaller car parks nearby. But all in all, this was a really successful evening.

January 2025Saw Disney on ice at the AO Arena. First time at the Arena. Good stadium but parking in the area was not good. Seats could be a bit more comfortable and merchandise was expensive as were the refreshments, £10 for bag of popcorn!!! Show was great though but can't comment on how they put on any other shows.
