We are one of Bristol’s newest independent mid-sized event space, having opened our doors in September 2020. We are a stimulating space for creatively minded company events, conferences, networking events, presentations, talks, book & product launches, fairs, markets, workshops, team building, filming, rehearsals and more.
We have 2 rooms available for hire independently or at the same time.

May 2024I highly recommend this place for a really good night out the staff here are both kind and accommodating especially for myself being disabled Leigh was absolutely brilliant and made sure I had a comfortable seat and didn’t have to worry all staff were polite and homely the place itself is lovely inside the lighting very warm cozy I’m sure I will be returning here again soon when a venue comes up it’s ideal for disabled people as it’s all on one level I had a great memorable night I recommend this great place to anyone. Thank you Leigh and staff for a wonderful evening your fantastic

March 2024Haven’t been in a very long time in the venue, where the sound quality was so good. We saw Donny Benét this evening, and it was brilliant. We loved it.

May 2024What a great local gem. A fantastic selection of events and music acts. If you’re short, this is a great venue! The stage is raised so you nearly always have a great view and there is a raised platform for an extra boost. Also it’s much wider than it is long, so the views are generally great. Wide selection of local beers and drinks. Always a good time at Strange Brew! Feels very different depending on the event, which is quite unique to this venue

March 2024Visited to see a band. Nice layout, with quirky decor and decent view of the stage which is a requirementif you're wee and excessively tall people always stand in front of you. Good selection of drinks at the bar.
