Some great news to report from VenueScanner HQ this week…our very own CEO and co-founder, Rebecca, has won Outstanding Entrepreneur at the Global Business Excellence Awards!

The awards, which recognise and reward business excellence across the globe, are open to organisations of all sizes, from all sectors. Winners are selected based on a range of criteria including financial results, product innovation, customer service, employee engagement and community benefits. 

The chairman of the judges commented: “Rebecca is an industry disrupter who has automated the long-winded venue booking process and created more business for smaller independent operators with her VenueScanner search and booking platform.”

“Most business has always gone to the larger, well-known venues but Rebecca has given smaller ones, such as churches, coffee shops and pubs, the opportunity to win new business. Rebecca has changed the way venue bookings are made forever and has created a great new business across seven cities in the UK.”
