There are three studios that have white Cyclorama walls, four with paper backdrops, and 8 interior photo studios. You can rent equipment if you need it as well.

If you’re looking for a photo studio to rent in an iconic location, you’ve found one at Hudson Yards Loft Studios. They have five 2500 sq. ft loft studios as well as a rooftop that offers stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. Each studio has a different set up, making it a great option if you’re filming interviews or looking for a set for a photo shoot. Many of the spaces come with a changing area, furniture, and props if needed. Additional equipment can be rented if needed, however you can easily bring your own as there is a freight elevator available for your use.
Located in Chelsea, Contra Studios is definitely one of the top photos studios in NYC. It has two cyc wall studios and a two corner soundstage. There is natural light as well as lighting rails if you’d prefer to use artificial light. The studios feature green rooms and client areas, as well as hair and makeup areas and a kitchen and restroom. Both studios have access to the freight elevator, making it easy to transport all your equipment and props.
If you’re in need of a massive photo studio, you’ve found it! Hook Studios has over 22,000 sq ft of shooting space. This warehouse style photo studio can be found in Red Hook. They have multiple spaces across the area, ranging in size. With four different unique photo studios for hire, you’ll be able to find exactly what you need for large scale productions. Hook Studios offers production packages, lighting rentals, and more, so you can get everything you need right there.
For something a bit different, why not hire a photo studio where you can take self-portraits. Foto Lab, located on West 29th Street, offers a number of self-portrait packages. They say, “You just show up. We provide the space, the professional setup, and the prints.” Book either their white room where you can take photos on a white backdrop or their color room, which has a number of backdrops available for use. Once you’ve taken your photos you can choose three to receive digitally and have one printed! It’s a great concept if you’re looking to shoot some professional photos but don’t have a huge budget to actually hire a photographer.
This fully equipped studio features two large south facing windows, which offers stunning natural light, no matter what time of day you shoot. However, you do have access to studio strobe and other lighting options if needed. The space has some fun design quirks, like a bathtub that can be used for your shoot. There’s a couch, as well as a changing area and room for hair and makeup. Located close to SoHo, this venue is in an ideal spot, especially if you want to shoot on the streets as well.
Nula Studios

They of course offer a cyc wall studio, but they also have some more unique options. Two of their studios feature different accent walls with seating, making them excellent backdrops for interviews or photos. They also have tons of pull backdrops in different colors for your use.
