August 2024My experience at this establishment was delightful. The staff exhibited exceptional hospitality, surpassing expectations in aiding us throughout our visit. Noteworthy amenities include a pool, and families should take note of the designated hours for children. It is advisable to inquire in advance,no reservations are necessary for children to access the swimming facilities.

August 2024We had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton Charlotte Square. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was lovely; large and quiet with good air conditioning. The hotel facilities are very nice and the gym was larger than expected for a hotel gym. I also enjoyed the social hour - there were a lot of guests taking part and the drink selections were great. It's well located in new town, with gorgeous views of the castle just outside the hotel.

September 2024I can't say enough good things about my experience at this hotel. Edinburgh is a walking city and this location couldn't be more perfect. We were there during Fringe but you wouldn't know it based on how quite our location was. The part that really set this stay apart was the staff. They could not have been more friendly or more helpful. It is the first experience where I told my wife I want to stay here again because of how nice the people were. Our room was great, the food was excellent and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and just wonderful. I will definitely be back here and I live a LONG way from this hotel. Appreciate everything the staff did to make our family experience so great.

June 2024This hotel added an extra layer of charm to our experience of the beautiful city of Edinburgh. During our stay, we felt valued. Since we took an early flight and arrived very early, the hotel kindly allowed our family to check in ahead of time. They also made excellent arrangements for our family trip (three people), including accommodations and meals. The reception staff were very professional and attentive. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped (including a Dyson hairdryer). The breakfast options were limited but delicious. The service staff were also very friendly. When we visit Edinburgh again, this hotel will still be our choice.
